How to register as a Broadband Router One Account Sponsor
- Log in to the myMTN portal (www.mymtn.com.ng) using the Broadband Router’s sim card number.
- On the homepage, click on “More” and select “Broadband Router One to register the Broadband Router number as a Sponsor.
- A prompt will appear for you to set up your PIN. Clicking the link will redirect you to the “PIN Management” page on the myMTN web portal.
- Once your PIN is set up, go back to the ‘Broadband Router One Account registration page’ to proceed with your registration.
- You will get a confirmation message that reads: “You are about to register for Broadband Router One Account as a Sponsor. Are you sure you want to proceed to register as a Sponsor?”
- After confirming the message and following the remaining steps, you will get the following notification on your browser and as an SMS: “Dear Customer, you have successfully registered as a Broadband Router One Account Sponsor. You can now add beneficiaries to share your Broadband Router bundles. Thank you.”
- If the registration was unsuccessful, the process will be terminated, and you will be returned to the previous page.
How to Add Broadband Router One Account Beneficiaries
- As a Broadband Router One Account Sponsor, you can add up to ten (10) beneficiaries ONLY.
- Beneficiaries are Broadband Router or M-Fi customers.
- To add a beneficiary, click on “Add Beneficiary” and enter the beneficiary’s PHONE NUMNER.
What can I view as a OneAccount Sponsor?
A registered sponsor will be able to view:
- His/her current capped data balances
- List of beneficiaries attached to his/her shareable data wallet
- Accumulated data consumed by each beneficiary within the validity period of the active (capped) data
- A sponsor will also be able to set the maximum amount of data each beneficiary can consume.
How to Delete Broadband Router One Account Beneficiaries?
Registered sponsors can delete any of the beneficiaries added to his/her shareable data wallet by selecting the radio button next to each beneficiary PHONE NUMBER and clicking the delete icon.
- The sponsor will be prompted to input their PIN to delete selected beneficiary
- Once Proceed button is clicked, you will get a confirmation message: “Y’ello [Customer Name], you have selected [Number of Beneficiary] from your Broadband Router One Account. Are you sure you want to delete?’ CONFIRM or BACK
- If you confirm, the selected beneficiary PHONE NUMBER will be removed as a beneficiary, and you, the sponsor, will get the following in- web success notification: “Dear customer, you have successfully deleted <PHONE NUMBER> from your Broadband Router One Account Profile. Thank you.”
- The Beneficiary PHONE NUMBER will get the resulting SMS notification: ‘’dear customer, you have been removed as a beneficiary to <Sponsor_PHONE NUMBER>. Your data sessions will no longer be charged to sponsor’s <PHONE NUMBER>”
- If you don’t confirm and press “Back”, the process will be terminated, and you will be returned to previous page.
- The deleted beneficiary PHONE NUMBER will no longer be listed in your beneficiary list, and your data will not be consumed when the deleted beneficiary connects to the internet.
How to Share Data to Broadband Router One Account Beneficiaries
- All browsing activities of beneficiaries on a One Account will be taken from Sponsors’ shareable data wallet, even sponsors with capped data bundles.
- Sponsor can set the maximum data usage of every beneficiary on his/her list by clicking the <Edit usage limit> button.
- Once clicked, you will be prompted to enter a data amount from a drop-down list (1GB, 2GB, 5GB, 10GB, 25GB, 50GB) and enter your secure PIN to proceed.
- Upon confirmation, you will get the following confirmation message: “Y’ello <Customer name>, You are modifying the usage limit for beneficiary <PHONE NUMBER> from <Old data amount> to <New data amount>. Are you sure you want to make the changes?” <CONFIRM> OR <BACK>
- If you confirm, the new data amount will be immediately set for the selected beneficiary and the sponsor will get the in-web success notification: “Dear customer, you have successfully set <new data amount> as the usage limit for <beneficiary PHONE NUMBER> on your Broadband Router One Account Profile. Thank you.”
- If you don’t confirm and click “Back”, the process will be terminated, and you will be returned to previous page
- Upon reaching the set data usage limit, beneficiary’s browsing activities will no longer be depleted from its sponsor’s account
- Sponsors can reset each beneficiary’s usage limits to default anytime by clicking the <<Reset to default>> button
- When the <<Reset to default>> button is clicked, you will be prompted to input your PIN to reset to default.
- Once Sponsor clicks <Proceed>, you will get the following confirmation message “Y’ello <Customer Name>, You are modifying the usage limit for beneficiary <PHONE NUMBER> to default. Are you sure you want to make the changes?” <CONFIRM> OR <BACK>
- If you confirm, the selected beneficiary will begin feeding, uncapped, from the Sponsors’ shareable data wallet. The Sponsor shall get the in-web success notification: “Dear customer, your One Account beneficiaries have been enabled to use as much as you have available on your Broadband Router One Account. Thank you.”
- If you press “Back” instead of confirming, the process shall be terminated, and you will be returned to previous page.
