Once connected to the internet, MTN Virtual Private Server allows you access to the server using any personal computer.

The service will provide the following web functionalities;

  • Control panel that will be used by customers to manage their VPSs
  • Depending on the server purchased, the following shall be provided;
  1. Operating Systems (Linux, Windows). This enables the customer operate the server from these two operating system
  2. Database Service. This service enables customers store data generated by applications run on the server
  • Software as a service functionality that will enable the inclusion of the following in the VPSs;
    1. Backup. In order to recover from any data loss or corruption due to a glitch of the customer’s business application, this service helps to backup and restore critical and sensitive data generated in course of operating the server
    2. Sharepoint. This helps customers collaborate using the Microsoft SharePoint application
