With over 20 years of experience in network implementation, core infrastructure development, and strategic planning, I am adept at modernising and future-proofing network architecture, ensuring capacity growth, to provide optimal customer experience. I was instrumental in expanding Nigeria’s network infrastructure, spearheading the deployment of the nation’s first-ever 4G and 5G networks, establishing MTN as a leader in next-generation technology.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the University of Abuja, Nigeria and a master’s degree in Telecommunications from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom. I also have certifications in technical and management courses from several renowned institutions, such as the Senior Management Programme from Lagos Business School and the General Management Programme from Harvard Business School.

I joined MTN Nigeria in 2002 as a Transmission Coordinator and I rose to the position of General Manager, Network Implementation in 2015 before my appointment as CTO in 2024.
