A. MTN TravelPass is a subscription-based roaming plan which offers outgoing calls and SMS across 40+ countries and destinations.
What plans are available on MTN TravelPass?
A. There are three (3) TravelPass plans available to MTN customers.

Who is eligible to subscribe to MTN TravelPass?
A. All new and existing Prepaid and Postpaid customers on the MTN network can subscribe to any of the TravelPass plans.
How do I subscribe to MTN TravelPass?
A. You can purchase any of the TravelPass plans via the following channels.

Where can I subscribe to MTN TravelPass?
A. You can subscribe to any TravelPass plans in Nigeria before travelling OR while roaming abroad.
Can I buy MTN TravelPass for others?
A. Yes, you can buy any MTN TravelPass plans for your family and friend irrespective of your location and the beneficiary.
Can I purchase any MTN TravelPass multiple times?
A. Yes, you can purchase the same TravelPass plan multiple times, BUT each of the TravelPass plans activated will expire separately.
Will I be able to purchase a combination of MTN TravelPass plans?
A. Yes, you can purchase a combination of different TravelPass plans, BUT each plan activated will expire separately depending on the validity.
What happens once my plan is exhausted while making a call or browsing?
A. On exhaustion or expiry of your bundle minutes or data, you will be charged from your main account or credit limit as applicable.
Will I get a notification message to enable me to monitor my bundle usage?
A. Yes, you will get an sms notification when you have used up to 50% and 80% of the subscription and exhaust the plan. You will also get End of Call Notification which shows the volume of minutes, SMS and Data used.
Will I be able to roll over unused bundle benefits after it expires?
A. Yes, you will be able to roll over the unused bundle after expiry IF you buy another bundle within the rollover period; 3days for the 7days bundle and 5days for the 14days bundle. Otherwise, you lose the unused bundle.
How do I check my TravelPass Bundle balance?
A. You can check your TravelPass Bundle Balance via the following channels:
- USSD – Dial *310# or *312*6*6#

What are the eligible destinations for MTN TravelPass?
A. MTN TravelPass will be available in 44 countries.
Eligible destinations:
The United Arab Emirates, United States of America, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Canada, India, Turkey, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Hungary, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Benin, Switzerland, Australia, Italy, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Liberia, Uganda, Rwanda, DR of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Iran, Czech Republic, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Sudan, South Sudan, Swaziland, Chad, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia.
Which destinations and countries can I call with my TravelPass?
A. You can make calls to local numbers in the visited country and call to Nigeria. However standard rate applies to calls to countries not covered in TravelPass.
Does an active TravelPass work across all eligible destinations?
A. Yes, you can use the same subscription if you travel across multiple eligible TravelPass destinations within the validity period.
What will I be charged for calls to non-eligible destinations?
A. Calls to other non-eligible destinations will be charged at the standard roaming rate from your main account or credit limit as applicable.
