MTN CallerTunez Mega Hunt Download Campaign Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
The MTN CallerTunez Mega Hunt Download Campaign (hereinafter referred to as the “Campaign”) is a promotional campaign organized by MTN Nigeria Communications PLC (hereinafter referred to as “MTN”). The Campaign allows MTN subscribers to win various prizes, including data, airtime, mobile phones, refrigerators, cash prizes, and a grand prize of a car, by downloading and using promoted CallerTunez content.
By participating in this Campaign, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “T&Cs”), as well as any other applicable rules, terms, and conditions, including those that may be issued or amended from time to time.
2. Campaign Duration
The Campaign will run from October 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, unless extended by MTN in its sole discretion. The duration of the Campaign may be modified or terminated at any time without prior notice.
3. Eligibility
- Eligible Participants:
- The Campaign is open to all MTN subscribers who are of legal age (18 years or older) and reside in Nigeria, except employees of MTN, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and their immediate family members.
- Both new and existing MTN subscribers are eligible to participate, provided they meet the requirements outlined in these T&Cs.
- Excluded Participants:
- The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Campaign:
- MTN employees, agents, contractors, or anyone directly involved in the development, production, or administration of the Campaign.
- Any individual whose MTN account has been suspended, blocked, or deactivated at any point during the Campaign period.
- The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Campaign:
- Participation:
- To participate in the Campaign, users must download and use the promoted CallerTunez content through the specified channels during the Campaign period. Further instructions on participation will be provided via SMS, website, or other MTN communication channels.
4. Campaign Mechanism
- Daily Draws:

- Participants who download one CallerTunez per day during the Campaign period are eligible for daily prizes, including airtime and data.
- Notifications of daily wins will be sent via SMS from short code 20112.
- Weekly Draws:
-
- Users who download two or more promoted CallerTunez per week are eligible for weekly prizes, which may include mobile phones, power banks, cash prizes, airtime and other merchandise.
- Notifications of weekly wins will be sent via SMS from short code 20112.
- Monthly Draws:

- Participants who download at least 6 promoted CallerTunez during the calendar month qualify for the monthly prize draw. Monthly prizes include cash prizes, refrigerators, televisions, and mobile phones.
- Notifications of monthly wins will be sent via SMS from short code 20112.
- Grand Prize (Six-Monthly Draw):

- Participants who download a minimum of 8 promoted CallerTunez per month during the 6-month Campaign period are eligible for the grand prize draw.
- The grand prize is a car, and the winner will be chosen from eligible participants who meet the download criteria.
- Notifications of the grand prize winner will be sent via SMS from short code 20112.
5. Prizes
- Prize Categories:

- Daily Prizes: Data, airtime, or other small prizes.
- Weekly Prizes: Mobile phones, power banks, cash prizes, etc.
- Monthly Prizes: Cash, refrigerators, mobile phones, televisions, etc.
- Grand Prize: A car, to be awarded to one eligible participant who meets the criteria..
- Prize Distribution:

- Prizes will be awarded to winners via SMS notifications. Winners will be required to claim their prizes within 14 days from the notification date.
- Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited after a 14-day period, and MTN reserves the right to reallocate the unclaimed prizes at its discretion.
- Non-Transferable Prizes:

- Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternatives unless otherwise specified by MTN.
6. Communication Channels
MTN will use the following communication channels to inform participants about the promotion and prizes:
- SMS (short code: 20112)
- Radio
- Websites and Social Media platforms
- USSD Codes
- Key Copy Messages
All communications will be in line with the information disclosed in these T&Cs, and participants must ensure their MTN mobile numbers are active and able to receive messages.
7. How to Participate
- Subscription:
- To participate, subscribers must download one of the promoted CallerTunez daily, or multiple promoted CallerTunez as specified in the weekly, monthly, or grand prize criteria.
- Tracking Downloads:
- MTN will track eligible downloads through its systems. Only promoted CallerTunez downloaded from MTN’s official platforms (OTA, USSD, SMS notifications, etc.) will be considered valid entries.
8. Disqualification
MTN reserves the right to disqualify any participant from the Campaign, without notice, for the following reasons:
- Fraudulent Activity: Any attempt to manipulate or abuse the system, including using multiple accounts or falsifying downloads.
- Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with the T&Cs of the Campaign.
- Ineligibility: If it is discovered that the participant does not meet the eligibility criteria.
9. Winner Verification
MTN reserves the right to conduct verification of the eligibility and identity of the winners before awarding any prizes. This may include verifying participant information through SMS, USSD, or direct contact.
10. Limitation of Liability
- MTN’s Liability: MTN, its agents, employees, and contractors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including any loss or injury to participants or any third parties arising from their participation in the Campaign or the use of any prize.
- Force Majeure: MTN is not responsible for any interruptions to the Campaign due to unforeseen events outside its control, including but not limited to network failures, natural disasters, strikes, or acts of war.
11. Modifications to the Campaign
- Campaign Changes: MTN reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. In the event of such changes, MTN will make reasonable efforts to notify participants through available communication channels.
- Changes to Terms and Conditions: MTN may amend these T&Cs at any time during the Campaign period. Any updates will be posted on the official MTN website, and participants will be notified accordingly.
12. Personal Data Protection
- Data Collection: By participating in the Campaign, you consent to MTN collecting and processing your personal data (e.g., name, phone number, MTN account details) for the purpose of administering the Campaign and awarding prizes.
- Privacy Policy: MTN will handle all personal data in accordance with its privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Campaign is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Campaign will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria.

Terms and Conditions of Campaign
- User must download the content campaigned either through OTA, USSD, SMS Notification, and key copy.
- User must have at least 8 of the tunez that have been promoted during the six months campaign in their library to stand a chance at winning the grand prize.
- Existing users that download one of the promoted tunez in a day during the period of the campaign stand a chance to win airtime and data daily.
- Users that download promoted tunez daily during the week also qualify and stand a chance at winning weekly prices.
- All tunez in the library should have been downloaded during the campaign period to stand a chance at winning the grand prize.
