Data finished? That won’t happen with our auto-renewal service which automatically renews your data plan subscription at the end of its validity period. This ensures uninterrupted access to data with no need to manually re-subscribe.

Once activated, your data plan will be automatically renewed using your prepaid account balance (or billed to your postpaid account, for Postpaid customers).

Ready for the convenience? Here’s how it works:

  • During activation of your data bundle, you’ll receive a pop-up message to opt for either Auto-renewal or One-off purchase. On myMTN NG, you can switch on or off the autorenewal service.
    • With a choice of auto-renewal, your data bundle will automatically renew after expiry, provided you have enough airtime on your line.
    • With a choice of one-off purchase, your data bundle will not renew after the expiry date.

You can still opt-in and out of auto-renewal if you choose one-off or autorenewal at the time of the bundle activation by sending the ‘R+bundle’ code to 312 or simply logging in to myMTN NG app, tapping on ‘Manage Subscription’, selecting the active bundle and toggling the autorenewal option on/off.

It’s a handy feature for those who prefer a seamless experience without the hassle of remembering to renew their plans manually.
