A. Migration into Pulse is free. However, if it is your subsequent migration within 30 days then you will be charged ₦102.

A. No, you will NOT be charged the daily fee on the MTN Pulse plan.


Q. What do I need to do to enjoy discounted calls?

A. To enjoy discounted rates on your MTN-to-MTN calls and calls to other local networks:

    • Text 406 to 131 or dial *406*1# and migrate to MTN Pulse tariff plan.
    • As soon as you migrate into the MTN Pulse tariff plan, minutes spent on calls will be accumulated.
    • At this point, your calls to all National numbers will be charged at 29.70k/sec.
    • As you make the calls, your accumulated spend will continue to increase.
    • When your accumulated spend on national calls reaches ₦17.82, your calls to all national numbers will reduce to 12.39k/sec.
    • You will continue to enjoy the discounted rate – 12.39k/sec for the rest of the day till 11:59 pm of that day.
    • The next day, the same thing will happen. Your calls will be accumulated up to the defined amount ₦17.82, after which your calls will drop to 12.39k/sec.
    • When you spend up to the pre-defined daily amount, ₦17.82 while making a national call, the new rate will be charged from the point you qualify.
    • If you migrate out of MTN Pulse tariff plan to any other prepaid tariff plan without spending up to the daily fee, all your accumulated spend will be cleared.
    • If you migrate back into MTN Pulse tariff plan, the system will begin to accumulate your spend again.

NOTE: If you have made more than ₦17.82 worth of calls while on other tariff plans, it will NOT count towards reaching the pre-defined threshold when you migrate to the MTN Pulse tariff plan.


Q. What happens to my call rate if I decide to migrate to another prepaid plan after making the first 60 seconds call?

A. Your calls will be charged based on the call rate of that tariff plan.


Q. Will I enjoy the discount on both national voice calls and International calls?

A. No, you will only enjoy the discount on MTN-to-MTN calls and MTN to Other networks calls.

A. No, you will NOT be able to roll over your unused Pulse Nightlife bundle balance. All unused Pulse Nightlife bundle balance will be cleared after 6 am.


Q. Do I need to subscribe every day to enjoy the Pulse Nightlife bundle or will my subscription be renewed automatically?

A. No, your subscription will NOT be renewed automatically. You will need to subscribe daily to enjoy the Nightlife browsing.

Example Mrs Mariam makes 3 minutes on-net call by 9:00am, then makes another 1 minute off-net call by 11:30am, then another 1-minute international call by 1.30pm. At the end of the call by 1.31pm, she will receive 1 Pulse Point for total calls made that amounted to 5 minutes.


Q. Will the counter reset daily?

A. Yes, the counter resets by 11.59pm daily.

Example If Mrs Cathy’s total of the day is 4 minutes 59secs by 11.59pm, and she makes another call of 3 minutes at 0.01am the next day, she will NOT earn Pulse Points until her calls the next day gets to 5 minutes.


Q. Will l receive the point immediately after my calls or at the end of the day?

A. Yes, you will be able to purchase 750MB bundle and 1.5GB bundle multiple times. However, if you purchase 750MB and 1.5GB at the same time, then each of the data bundles purchased will have its own unique expiry dates.


Q. If I activate multiple data bundles, which bundle will deplete first?

A. The bundle with the closest expiry will deplete first.

Example: If you have both 750MB 3-days bundle and 1.5GB 7-days bundles activated, then your 750MB data bundle will deplete first.


Q. Will I be able to rollover my unused data bundle?

A. Yes, your unused balance will rollover if you activate either 750MB or 1.5GB data bundle within grace period; 1day and 3days respectively.

Example: If you activate the 750MB 3-days plan and on the day of expiry you have 500MB remaining in your data main account. If you renew the bundle within 1day, the remaining 500MB data bundle will be rolled over to the new data bundle. This means that you will have 1.25GB in your data main account.


Q. Will I be able to activate the Pulse Special Bundles when I am not on Pulse tariff plan?

A. YES, you can subscribe to the Pulse Special bundles when you are not on Pulse tariff plan. However, you will be migrated to MTN Pulse plan after successful activation.

NOTE: You will NOT be charged for migration whenever you activate the Pulse Special bundles from other tariff plans.

  • Happy gifts a friend a data/social bundle to the tune of ₦300 or below in the previous week, she will be eligible to buy any or all the Pulse Tuesday offers.

Example for ineligible customers:

  • Zain spent a total of ₦450 to buy data bundles/social bundles in the previous week. On Tuesday of the following week, she will not be eligible to buy the Pulse Tuesday bundles.
  • Josh gifts a friend a data/social bundle above ₦300 in the previous week, she will not be eligible to buy the Pulse Tuesday bundles in the following Tuesday.

A. MTN Campus Zone Offer is a location-based service that allows you enjoy free 100MB, 150MB, or 200MB bonus data when you are within the campus area of specific higher institutions. You will get this bonus when you use the same data volume from your paid data bundles within the same campus locations.

For example, if the data allowance for your campus area is 100MB, you will have to use 100MB data from your data balance to get 100MB data bonus.


Q. Who is eligible for this offer?

A. All MTN customers who use the stipulated data volume, i.e., 100MB, 150MB, or 200MB from the active bundles on their lines within the campus locations, are eligible to enjoy the Campus Zone offer.


Q. How do I access the MTN Campus Zone offer?

A. You will receive a welcome message on your phone once you enter the eligible campus location asking you to, for example, “Use 100MB to get free 100MB data on your line”. Simply use up to the required 100MB data from your Access and XtraValue bundles within the campus location to access the offer.


Q. Is there any time of the day the Campus Zone offer will be available to me?
