A. MTN mPulse Prepaid is a basic prepaid plan that allows Pre-Teen and Teen customers between the age bracket of 9 and 15 years to enjoy, Special data bundles, Special Birthday reward, lots of other exciting offers and National calls at 15.36k/secs.
A. ALL MTNN Pre-Teen and Teen customers between the age bracket of 9 and 15 years can migrate to MTN mPulse tariff plan.
A. You can migrate to MTN mPulse plan via any of the channels below:

A. You will enjoy the following:
A. You will NOT be charged for migrating into mPulse tariff plan if it is your first migration in 30 days. Subsequent migrations within the same month will attract ₦102 migration fee.
A. Yes, you will now receive N1000 SIM Activation bonus on your new number after you register and activate the number.
A. You will be able to use the N1000 SIM Activation bonus on your new number once you perform a chargeable activity from your main account (Calls, SMS, data activities SMS, bundle activation etc.)
A. You will be able to perform National calls, SMS and data from the N1000 SIM Activation bonus as follows:
A. The N1000 SIM Activation bonus will be valid for 7 days from the date of SIM activation BUT unused bonus will be cleared after 7 days.
A. You will receive the N1000 SIM Activation bonus ONCE after buying and registering a new MTN line.
A. Yes, you will still be able to use the N1000 SIM Activation bonus when you migrate to another tariff plan so long as the bonus has not expired. However, you will not be able to use the SIM Activation if you migrate to XtraSpecial plan or XtraValue plan.

A. The Pop-up menu is a new feature that allows you to set your data bundle on One-off or Recurrent purchase:
A. If you exit the Pop-Up Menu or it times out before selecting an option, your data bundle will be on One-off purchase. This means that your data bundle will not auto-renew upon expiry.
A. Yes, you will be able to opt in for Auto-renewal by sending R+bundle code to 344.
Example: If you have an active 250MB 7-days bundle that is on One-off option, you will be able to opt in for auto renewal by sending R350 to 344.
A. Yes, you will be able to cancel auto-renewal on your bundle anytime by sending the opt-out keyword to 344. Example: NO350 to 344
A. You will be charged:
A. The weekly and monthly special bundles will be valid for 7days and 30 days respectively.
A. For the Weekly bundle, you will be credited with 350MB and 1.2GB for the Monthly bundle.
A. You will be able to check your data bundle balance via the following channels:
A. No, you can only access select Education sites and platforms and the mPulse website with the Education bundle.

A. Yes, you can activate any of the Education bundle multiples times. However, the data bundles purchased will have its expiry date, BUT the bundle with the least expiry will be used first.
A. If you have the Education bundle and Fastlink bundle active, then your browsing on the mPulse website will be charged from your Education bundle and when you have finished the bundle, your data charges while on the website will be charged from your Fastlink bundle.
However, if you have the Education bundle and Fastlink bundle active, then your browsing on other websites will be charged from your Fastlink bundle, and when you have finished the data bundle, your data activity will be suspended until you buy another Fastlink bundle or opt in for PAYG browsing.
A. Your mPulse Special data bundle will only auto renew on the day of expiry if you selected ‘Recurrent Purchase’ at the time purchase and as long as you have enough airtime.
A. As soon as you exhaust your data bundle before the expiry and do not have any other active data bundle, your data access will be suspended and you will not be able to browse again. To continue browsing, you will need to do one of the following:
A. Yes, you will be able to roll over any unused main data bundle as long as you buy another bundle before the current bundle expires or within the allowed grace period after the bundle expires BUT you will NOT be able to rollover any unused data bonus.
Below is the breakdown of the applicable rollover period per bundle plan:

A. You will be able to browse from your airtime after exhausting your data bundle BUT you will be required to opt in before you can browse from your airtime at Pay As You Go rate.
A. To opt in for PAYG browsing, simply;
A. Your browsing from your airtime will be charged at ₦3.07/MB.
A. No, you will not be charged for opting in for PAYG browsing.
A. To opt out of PAYG browsing, simply
A. Yes. When you are on mPulse and try to buy a data bundle plan from N500 and above, you will get a pop-up to buy an mPulse Special bundles.
A. No. You will only get the mPulse Special Bundle if:
Note: You will not get the pop-up if you buy Access data bundle that costs less than N500.
A. You will be charged for the Education bundle if you complete the activation from the pop-up. However, you will not be charged for the Education bundle if you cancel the activation by selecting ‘Cancel’ from the pop-up or by simply cancelling from your phone.
A. No. Only eligible mPulse customers will get the mPulse Special Data pop-up when buying a data bundle.
A. No. If you don’t select any option and the pop-up times out, the Education bundle will not be activated. You will only be charged for the data bundle that was activated.
A. To check the data bundle balance, simply dial *312*4#, *310#, *344*2*2#, or text 2 to 344.
A. You can stop auto-renewal by sending ‘NO+Opt-in’ keyword to ‘344’.
Example: To opt-out of auto-renewing the 350MB Education bundle, you will send ‘NO350’ to ‘344’.

A. No, the free WhatsApp bonus can only be used on WhatsApp.
A. You will get the Whatsapp data bonus on your first recharge of ₦100/₦200 of the following month.

Q. What is Birthday Reward?
A. The birthday reward offers mPulse customers N200 airtime in their main balance on the birthdate registered via the *344# mPulse menu.
A. Only mPulse customers that are 15years and below are eligible to receive the free ₦200 airtime birthday reward on the day of their birthday. However, after your 15th birthday, you will not be eligible to receive the free ₦200 airtime bonus again on the day of your birthday.
A. To enjoy the birthday reward, you will need to provide your name and date of birth via the following channels:
A. You can register your birthdate on the mPulse menu by following the steps below:
A. No, once you have provided your birthday details, you will not be allowed to change the details again.
A. You don’t need any code to activate the birthday reward. You will automatically receive your birthday reward on the birth date you registered through the *344# mPulse menu.
A. You will be credited with ₦200 in your main balance on the birth date you registered through the *344# mPulse menu.
A. You will receive your birthday reward once a year ONLY if you submit your date of birth 30 days before your birthday, but not less than 30 days before your birthday.
Examples: If on the 23rd of March, you submit 20th August 2010 as your date of birth, you will receive the birthday reward on 20th August 2021, same year (because 20th August 2021 is more than 30 days from the date you inputted your birthday date).
A. No, you will NOT receive the birthday reward within the same year if you submit your birthday date, one (1) day before your birthday. However, You will only receive the birthday reward, if you submit your birthday at least 30 days before your birthday date.
Example: If on the 23rd of March, 2021, you submit 15th April 2008 as your date of birth, you will receive the birthday reward on 15th April 2022, the following year (because 15th April 2021 is less than 30 days from the date you inputted birthday date).
A. No, you will not be able to share your birthday airtime bonus via MTN Share.
A. The airtime bonus will be used for National Voice calls, National SMS and Pay As You Go Data.
A. Your Calls, SMS, and Data from your birthday airtime bonus will be charged as follows:
A. No. You cannot buy data bundle or VAS service with your birthday reward. You can ONLY make national calls, SMS and PAYG data with the birthday reward.
A. The airtime bonus will be valid till 11:59pm of the following day.
A. No. You will NOT be able to use your birthday reward if you migrate out of mPulse. However, if you migrate back into mPulse within the validity of the birthday reward bonus you will still be able to use it.
A. No. You will NOT lose your birthday reward bonus after migrating out of mPulse as long as the bonus is still valid.
A. Yes. You will lose your birthday reward after 24hours and all unused values will be cleared from the line.
Q. What is Parent-Child link?
A. Parent-Child link is a feature that enables airtime and data gifting from a parent number to a linked child number.
A. Parent-child link enables an easy data and airtime share from parent line to child line.
A. Yes. A child account can link to a parent account by following the steps below:
NB: A child line can ONLY add a maximum of two (2) parent lines.
A. Yes. A parent line can link child account(s) via USSD.
A. You can link child account by following the steps below:

A. No. Only MTN numbers can be linked together
A. A child line can only be linked to a maximum of two (2) parent numbers at a time.

A. Yes. The airtime and data gifted to the child account will autorenew at the time of expiry. However, the auto-renewal status can be modified.
A. Yes. You can modify the airtime and data gifted to the child account(s) by following the steps below:
A. As a parent on Betatalk or YafunYafun tariff plan, you will be able to gift your child data BUT will NOT be able to gift airtime to your child.
However, parents on other Prepaid plans will be able to gift airtime and data to their child’s number.
A. Once a parent line migrates to mPulse tariff plan, all child numbers linked to the parent line will be automatically un-linked from the parent line and all gifting will automatically stop.
A. Once you migrate out of the mPulse tariff plan, you will NOT lose your gifted airtime/data. However, the airtime/data will NOT autorenew.
A. You can get the 15% airtime bonus on virtual recharge when you recharge via the eligible recharge channels listed below:
1. MTN OnDemand (*904#)
2. myMTN NG app(Airtime recharge option ONLY).
A. The 15% airtime bonus on virtual recharge will be valid for 7 days BUT unused bonus will be cleared after 7 days.
A. No. 15% airtime bonus on virtual recharge can’t be shared/transferred to another line.
A. When you make calls, your 15% airtime bonus on virtual recharge will be charged first until it is exhausted after which call charges will now be from your main balance or any other balance on your line.
A. No. You will not get the 15% airtime bonus on virtual recharge when you receive or send airtime via MTN Share.
A. You will be able to make local calls, send SMS and browse any website or app with the 15% airtime bonus on virtual recharge.
