A. MTN TruTalk is a prepaid tariff allows you enjoy FLAT rate of 12kobo/sec for calls ACROSS ALL local Networks in Nigeria after paying a daily access fee of ₦10.

A. All MTN Prepaid customers can migrate to MTN TruTalk tariff plan.

How do I migrate to MTN TruTalk?
A. You can migrate to MTN TruTalk via the following channels:
– Text ‘TT’ to 312.
– Dial *400# or Dial *123*2*6#
– MTN ChatBot (Zigi):
- Login to ChatBot (Zigi).
- Select ‘Start a new conversation’.
- Enter your phone number.
- Enter the OTP.
- Select ‘Services’.
- Select ‘Tariff plan’.
- Select ‘Personal’.
- Select ‘Trutalk’.
- Confirm the migration to Trutalk.
– myMTN NG app:
- Login to myMTN NG app.
- Select the tariff name under the bell icon on the top right corner of the landing page.
- On the ‘Migrate plans’ page, click the ‘Change plan’ button.
- Scroll down to select ‘Trutalk’.
– myMTN Web:
- Logon to https://mymtn.com.ng
- Enter your phone number.
- Enter OTP and select ‘Proceed’.
- On the top right corner of the home page, click your name.
- Select My Plan.
- Select Other Plans.
- Select MTN Trutalk.
How much will I be charged for migrating to MTN TruTalk?
A. The first migration into the TruTalk plan in a month will be free of charge but subsequent migrations within the same month into the TruTalk plan will attract a migration fee of N102.
Will I be charged the daily fee as soon as I migrate to MTN TruTalk?
A. No, you will NOT be charged the daily access fee as soon as you migrate into MTN TruTalk. You will be charged the ₦10 access fee upon your first call in a day after migrating to TruTalk
What do I need to do to enjoy discounted calls?
A. To enjoy discounted rates on ALL local Networks in Nigeria, Text ‘TT’ to 312 or dial *400# or dial *123*2*6# and migrate to MTN TruTalk tariff plan.
Initiate a call with sufficient airtime balance (e.g. ₦24) that will cover for the access fee, Once the access fee has been deducted, your calls to all local Networks in Nigeria will be charged at 12k/sec.
Example:
Customer having ₦24 (i.e. more than ₦10) on their main account then makes a 50secs chargeable call (off-net and on-net). They will be charged a total of ₦16.00k i.e.:
₦10 daily access fee + ₦5.63k (12k/sec x 50secs) = ₦16.00k.
The new balance will be (₦24 – ₦16.00k) = ₦8.00k.
How much will I be charged for calls to all local Networks in Nigeria if I do not have enough airtime to pay for the service fee?
A. Your calls to all local Networks in Nigeria will be charged at 15k/sec on the call rate.
How much will I be charged for calls to all local Networks in Nigeria if I have just ₦10 in my main account after migrating to TruTalk plan?
A. Your calls to all local Networks in Nigeria will be charged at 15k/sec.
What happens to my call rate if I decide to migrate to another prepaid plan after paying the daily fee?
A. Your calls will be charged based on the call rate of that tariff plan.
Will I be charged another daily access fee If I migrate into another plan and then migrates back into MTN TruTalk after paying my access fee of ₦10 in a day?
A. After paying the daily access fee for the day, your calls will still be charged at 12k/sec whenever you migrate back into MTN TruTalk on the same day.
Will I enjoy the flat rate of 12k/sec on both national voice calls and International calls?
A. No, you will only enjoy the flat rate on MTN-to-MTN calls and MTN to other national networks calls. Your international calls will be charged at the standard international calling rate.
If I don’t make any call on a particular day, will I still pay the daily access fee?
A. No, you will only pay the daily access fee whenever you make a chargeable national call.
Will I pay the daily access fee when I send my first SMS of the day?
A. No, you will not pay the daily access fee when you send SMS or carry out any other activity. You will only pay the daily access fee when you make your first national (chargeable) call.
Will I pay the daily access fee when I make a toll-free call like IVR?
A. No, you will only pay the daily access fee when you make a chargeable national call in a day.
Will I be able to pay for the daily access fee from my bonus account?
A. No, you will NOT be able to pay for the daily access fee from your bonus account.
Will I be able to enjoy Awuf4U offer on MTN TruTalk?
A. Yes, you will enjoy the Awuf4U offer when you recharge with the Awuf4U option.
Will I be able to transfer airtime using MTN Share from MTN TruTalk?
A. Yes, you will be able to send and receive airtime using MTN Share.

When will I be able to use the N1000 SIM Activation bonus on my new number?
A. You will be able to use the N1000 SIM Activation bonus on your new number once you perform a chargeable activity from your main account (Calls, SMS, data activities SMS, bundle activation etc.)

A. Yes, you will still be able to use the N1000 SIM Activation bonus when you migrate to another tariff plan so long as the bonus has not expired. However, you will not be able to use the SIM Activation if you migrate to XtraSpecial plan or XtraValue plan

If I migrate to another tariff plan with my 15% Airtime bonus on recharge, will I still be able to use it?
